Nagari Koto Salak is one of the dragons originating from Pemekaran Nagari Koto Baru, where the state of Koto Salak dragon has natural beauty to be used as a Tourism Village, namely the art of Randai and Silek Tuo Nagari Koto Salak which has long been a tradition in every activity in Nagari Koto Salak. besides that, Nagari Koto Salak has a lake that comes from the junction of a Batang Siek river which makes water restrained to form a lake. which is used by the surrounding community for daily activities, for example: to bathe, to wash and to find fish in addition to the daily chili sauce of the Koto Salak nagari community. Especially when the lake water drops and a few people use it with the name of the Ngacau Danau tradition, where all people go into the lake to catch fish with their hands and other fishing equipment together.
